They have the highest turnover rate out of any company that I have ever worked for. Staff are like family, although, management leaves much to be desired.
I wouldn't utilize Air Evac unless it was just a stepping stone to get you to a better opportunity. Experience from Air Evac could motivate you to make major life changes, as some positions within can be extremely powerful and life changing. At first it was owned by several small town individuals who had a dream of saving lives in rural America.
Cool place to work, good mission etc, but high turnover and too many mid-level and upper management. Upper management likes to say things and make promises, but then when the rubber meets the road they forget about you and promises are broken. Lots of autonomy and benefits above average, medical insurance has excellent coverage.
84 hours a pay period for med crew, plenty of opportunity for overtime if wanted.

The training is great and the pay is better than anywhere else in the Midwest for medical crews.The most enjoyment for me was meeting new people, however most were not interested in company product. just needed to watch out for other employees gossip...otherwise it was a great work experience! Awesome equipment and aggressive treatment protocols. Leading industry in air ambulance service provider.They are losing money daily because they hire people with no experience for management positions.If you are looking for a long term job don't go here because it will be bankrupt within 2 years.
